BT LOLA

Background

One of the two projects we are currently doing for BT is the LOLA fault testing project. This project is a prime example of MAC’s expertise in rigging telecom work and DICI services. It demonstrates that our rigging team is not only capable of assembly and installation but is also adept at carrying out maintenance and diagnostic work.

Our Role

The location and logistics have always posed a challenge, as many telecom masts are located in remote areas. We guarantee that we can deliver the testing and diagnostic work promptly without any delays. Crucially, this is made possible with the support of our civils team, who operate ATVs and Argos. Their involvement ensures that our riggers can efficiently and effectively carry out the work in these challenging environments.

The Impact

We have successfully completed numerous fault testing and diagnostic operations for the BT LOLA project. Our approach ensures prompt follow-up with repair work immediately after diagnostics. This process includes identifying and rectifying faults, along with replacing RRU/ERS, microwave Dish and GPS systems as needed.

At MAC, we are committed to sustaining our collaboration with BT on this project. Our goal is to uphold and enhance the standards of the existing telecom infrastructure, ensuring reliability and efficiency in our services.
