Background

The EoL project, a project we are working on behalf of EE/MBNL, aimed at the extensive maintenance and modernisation of aging telecom sites throughout Scotland, England, and Wales.

Our Role

In the End of Life (EoL) project for EE/MBNL, MAC Network Services played a crucial role in rejuvenating aging telecom infrastructure across the UK. Our responsibilities encompassed a comprehensive range of activities, from conducting detailed inspections and repairs of numerous telecom sites to ensure operational reliability, to addressing corrosion and section loss which are vital for the longevity and uninterrupted functionality of the telecom equipment. Moreover, we were instrumental in upgrading the infrastructure, including the installation of new transmission bases and meter cabinets, thereby significantly enhancing the performance and efficiency of EE/MBNL’s telecom services. Our involvement in the EoL project not only demonstrates MAC Network Services’ commitment to excellence and technological proficiency but also showcased our pivotal role in strengthening EE/MBNL’s network infrastructure, paving the way for future technological advancements.
